Bringing Movement & Wellbeing Into the Community

Heal 2 Live partners with community organisations, schools, early-learning settings, women’s groups, faith-based organisations and community centres to make movement and wellbeing more accessible within familiar community environments.

Programs can be designed for women, children or specific community groups and tailored according to participant needs, age, setting and program goals.

From one-off wellbeing workshops to regular movement programs, we work with organisations to create experiences that are engaging, practical, inclusive and relevant to the community being supported.

Programs for Your Community

There is no one-size-fits-all community program.

We work with each organisation to understand its participants, objectives, available space and preferred format before developing an appropriate program.

Programs may be delivered as one-off sessions, workshops, regular classes or multi-week programs.

Schools & Early-Learning Settings

Heal 2 Live can work with schools, early-learning services and children’s programs to provide age-appropriate movement and wellbeing experiences.

Depending on the age group and program objectives, sessions may explore:

Move • Balance • Stretch • Breathe • Relax • Connect

Programs may be delivered as a standalone workshop, regular movement session or part of a broader wellbeing initiative.

Program content and delivery are discussed with the organisation beforehand to ensure activities are appropriate for the participating group.

Community Movement Programs

Accessible group movement sessions can be developed for organisations wanting to provide their community with opportunities for regular physical activity.

Sessions may incorporate Pilates-informed movement, mobility, gentle strengthening, balance and coordination, stretching, postural awareness, breathing and body awareness.

  • Gentle movement

How Community Programs Work

1. Tell Us About Your Community

Contact Heal 2 Live and tell us about your organisation, participants, age group, location and what you would like the program to achieve.

2. We Design the Program

We develop an appropriate program structure based on your participants, setting, available space and objectives.

3. We Come to You

Programs can be delivered at suitable community venues, schools, early-learning environments and organisational settings by prior arrangement.

4. Build on the Experience

Choose a one-off session or discuss a regular or multi-week program to provide participants with ongoing opportunities for movement and wellbeing.

Who We Work With

Community programs may be suitable for:

  • Community organisations

  • Women’s groups

  • Schools

  • Early-learning settings

  • Children’s programs

  • Neighbourhood houses

  • Faith-based organisations

  • Not-for-profit organisations

  • Community support services

  • Women’s conferences and events

  • Health and wellbeing initiatives

A Respectful & Inclusive Approach

We recognise that age, ability, culture, faith, privacy, previous movement experience and individual confidence can influence how people engage with movement and wellbeing.

Programs are therefore designed with the particular community in mind rather than applying the same format to every group.

For women’s programs, Heal 2 Live can provide a women-only, modesty-conscious and faith-sensitive environment where requested.

Our aim is to create an environment in which participants feel welcomed, respected and comfortable participating at their own level.

Community Program Pricing

Community programs are tailored according to the needs of each organisation and group.

Pricing will depend on factors such as program type, session duration, participant numbers, location, travel, equipment requirements and whether the program is delivered as a one-off session or an ongoing series.

We will provide a tailored quotation after discussing the organisation’s needs and the type of program requested.

Important Information

Community programs are adapted according to the participants, environment and nature of the service being requested.

Relevant screening, consent and organisational requirements may apply depending on the program and participant group.

Heal 2 Live’s movement and wellbeing programs are not a substitute for medical, physiotherapy, psychological or other allied-health care.

Where a participant’s needs fall outside the scope of a particular program, consultation with an appropriately qualified health professional may be recommended.

Let’s Create Something for Your Community

Whether you’re looking for a women’s wellbeing program, kids movement session, school or early-learning program, community movement class, wellbeing workshop or special event experience, we’d love to hear what you’re planning.

Heal 2 Live can work with your organisation to create a program suited to your participants, setting and wellbeing goals.
